Prices Plus Moranbah is hiring a Junior Retail Assistant to join our family-owned store. This casual role is ideal for after-school and weekend availability, with on-the-job training and no prior retail experience required. You’ll greet customers, operate the register, restock shelves, and keep the store neat and inviting. A positive attitude and reliability are valued as you learn our processes and support the team.

This is a first job you can be proud of. You will be on the floor and on the register serving customers and keeping the store looking its best. No experience is needed — we will train you.

Hours

• Varying casual shifts after school and on weekends


• Shift times vary according to the store’s trading requirements


• Up to [12] hours per week during school term, within the limits that apply to school-aged employees


• Additional hours available during school holidays

What You Will Be Doing

• Welcoming customers and giving friendly, helpful service


• Operating the register and processing sales on our POS system


• Replenishing shelves and keeping product presentation neat


• Keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented


• Helping out with general store tasks as directed by your supervisor
