The Reject Shop is becoming Dollarama Australia, part of a global discount retailer. As an ASM you’ll have a real path to running your own store and stepping up when the Store Manager is away.
You’ll work hands-on on the floor, lead the team, handle stock, service and standards, and participate in the development plan designed to grow you into Store Manager. You’ll receive a $29.45 base hourly rate plus penalties, overtime, and 17.5% leave loading, with structured progression.
Every Sunday off, and a real path to running your own store.
That's the short version. Here's the rest.
Plenty of places make you "Assistant Manager" and leave you there. Not here. We're opening and renovating stores as we grow into Dollarama Australia, which means ASMs who are good at this move up. This is the role that gets you to running your own store, and here that's a real path, not a maybe.
No Sunday hours. Every second Saturday off. Three days off in a row every second weekend. That's rare in retail. Here, it's just how we roster.
You'll help run the store hands-on and on the floor, leading the team alongside your Store Manager and stepping up when they're away. You'll be in the work, stock, service, standards, learning every part of running a store by doing it.
The Reject Shop is becoming Dollarama Australia, part of one of the most successful discount retailers in the world. That's not a logo change. We're investing in the Australian business from the ground up, the stores, the technology, the branding, the people and the way we work. Get in as an ASM now, learn how a global retailer really operates, and grow as fast as we do.
You've led a shift, maybe a supervisor, run a department, trained new starters or held the keys somewhere, retail, fast food, fuel, hospitality, a chemist, anywhere fast-paced. You're ready for more. No discount variety experience needed. We'll teach you the rest.
$29.45 base hourly rate + penalty rates + overtime rates each week + 17.5% leave loading, and structured development built to get you to Store Manager.
