Job summary

Gough Recruitment is helping a Canberra-based client find an Assistant Property Manager. Whether you’re stepping up from a junior role or hold a Certificate of Registration, the right attitude and willingness to learn are key.

The right candidate will receive full training and ongoing support to grow within property management. Working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday open homes, you’ll gain experience across maintenance coordination, inspections, rent collection and arrears, tenant

Qualifications

• Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence is required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and progress within Property Management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of a tidy and well-maintained portfolio.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs from start to finish.
• Conduct routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections.
• Assist with rent collection and arrears management.
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords.
• Respond to enquiries and handle day-to-day property management matters.
• Work with Property Management and Leasing teams.
• Develop skills across the full property management lifecycle.

THE ROLE

ABOUT YOU

• A current Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
• A valid driver's licence
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress within Property Management
