Job summary

Bluestone in Pakenham seeks a motivated Junior Project Manager to join its growing team, delivering a diverse range of commercial construction projects valued up to $10m. You will work alongside senior management, gaining hands-on project responsibility and mentoring to advance toward a full Project Manager role.

With exposure to planning, procurement, scheduling, cost reporting and subcontractor coordination, you'll develop strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to safety and quality

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in commercial construction.
• Experience on projects valued between $2m and $10m.
• Strong organisational skills and understanding of construction programming and project delivery.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing commercial construction projects from initial planning through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on programme.
• Support project procurement, budgeting, cost reporting and contract administration.
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential delays and assisting with programme management.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams.
• Work closely with Site Managers to ensure safety, quality and construction standards are maintained.
• Assist with project reporting, variations, RFIs and documentation.

About the Opportunity

An established commercial builder based in Pakenham is seeking an ambitious Junior Project Manager to join its growing team, delivering a diverse range of commercial construction projects valued up to $10m.

Working alongside experienced senior management, you'll be involved in all aspects of project delivery while benefiting from ongoing mentoring and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing commercial construction projects from initial planning through to practical completion.
