Task Recruitment is seeking a junior Program/Project Scheduler to support global technology programs in mining equipment and software development. Based in Australia, you will maintain schedules, track milestones, and support Program Managers as part of a multinational team.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in scheduling or PMO support, with a mind for detail and good communication. The role offers office-based work in Perth or Burnie, with potential extension and career development.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in project scheduling or project coordination.
• Experience with project schedules and project planning tools.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence to obtain project/schedule updates from team members.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience in IT, software development or technology product development is highly regarded but not essential.
• Formal project management qualifications such as PMP or PMI-SP are not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program and project schedules and support coordination of software and technology development programs.
• Create, update and maintain schedules reflecting activities, milestones and dependencies.
• Collect schedule updates from team members and adjust plans accordingly.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and escalate to Program/Project Manager.
• Prepare schedules, reports and project information for meetings.
• Maintain action, risk and scope-change logs and project documentation.
• Track milestones, actions and deliverables across Australia, the US and India.
• Assist with project workshops and planning sessions.
