Job summary

29Metals Limited is seeking a Senior Scheduling Engineer to join the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. The site-based role reports to the Technical Services Manager and operates on an 8:6 roster, with potential to split time between site and Perth.

You will translate mine designs into reliable schedules, aligning execution with site strategy and business objectives, while leading the scheduling process across surface and underground teams to manage risk.

Qualifications

• Tertiary mining engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience delivering underground mine schedules (short and long term).
• Strong understanding of underground mining systems and backfill.

Responsibilities

• Develop medium to long-term mine schedules (1 month to 3 years).
• Maintain and optimise Deswik master scheduling model for current conditions.
• Translate mine design and data into executable forecasts.
• Coordinate scheduling cycle with surface and underground teams to manage risk and variance.
• Analyse scenarios to improve schedule quality and robustness.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure safe, reliable plan delivery.
