Elegant Media is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Web Developer to work on TypeScript/React/Web projects from our Clayton, Victoria office. The role blends frontend and backend work to deliver reliable, user-friendly web applications for a growing agency.

You’ll join a team that values learning, collaboration, and hands-on project experience, with opportunities to engage in client meetings and planning sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial web development experience or a portfolio of work.
• React, Node.js Experience
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Good understanding of domains, DNS, hosting, email, and SSL
• AI experience with vibe-coding, Models, AI-IDEs, agents.
• Ability to write and maintain automated tests
• Genuine enthusiasm to learn and grow
• Good interpersonal, writing and communication skills

Junior / Mid-Level Web Developer (TypeScript / React / Web)

We're looking for a talented Junior to Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join our team.

You should have some commercial experience working on digital projects such as responsive websites, web applications, SaaS products, or internal business systems.

The role will involve a combination of frontend and backend development, with a strong focus on building reliable, user-friendly web applications. Since we're a growing agency, you may also be invited to client-facing or project-planning meetings at times.

This position is based in our office, at Clayton, Victoria.

Highly Preferred Skills:

• 1+ year of commercial web development experience or a similar portfolio of work
• React, Node.js Experience
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Good understanding of domains, DNS, hosting, email, and SSL
• AI experience with vibe-coding, Models, AI-IDEs, agents.
• Ability to write and maintain automated tests

• Experience designing REST APIs or reusable software packages

• An interest in application security, privacy, and reliable software design
• Site reliability monitoring or improvement
