Mid-Level Front-End Developer (Remote, QLD-based)

Location: Remote — must be based in Gold Coast or Brisbane regions

Employment Type: Part-time 20 - 30 hours a week

About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-level Front-End Developer who’s passionate about building fast, accessible, and beautiful web experiences. You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team working on modern web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and a range of headless CMSs.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain front-end applications using Next.js and TypeScript
• Integrate headless CMSs and work closely with APIs
• Manage data fetching with React Query (TanStack Query)
• Implement robust validation and typing using Zod schemas
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance optimization

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong skills in Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Knowledge of Vue is appreciated
• Practical experience with React Query and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.)
• Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful, Strapi)
• Understanding of Zod and schema validation
