Apparent Communications is seeking a full-stack expert to drive impactful digital solutions for global brands.

Join our highly skilled development team on long-term engagements, working with React, Node.js, NextJS, and various CMS platforms.

Based in Eveleigh, with hybrid working, you’ll own technical delivery, estimate writing, and collaboration with design and production teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer in an agency or software house.
• Ability to write detailed estimates and technical specifications.
• Expert level ReactJS and strong NextJS experience.
• Expert-level TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of AI tools without overreliance on them.
• Solid DB design principles with SQL in MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to build APIs to spec in .NET or NodeJS.
• Experience integrating web apps with multiple CMSs.
• Strong security fundamentals and industry best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Work on full-stack projects across React, Node.js, and CMS platforms for diverse clients.

What You’ll Be Doing - Your Impact Starts Here

• You’ll be working on full-stack development projects across a range of technologies including React, Node.js, and modern CMS platforms for our diverse range of clients.
• Your day-to-day will be a mixture of hands-on coding, writing technical specifications and providing estimations for new features and projects.
• You’ll have the opportunity to take technical ownership of projects, driving them from initial concept and architecture through to final deployment and maintenance.
• You’ll be working alongside our design, strategy and production teams, contributing your technical expertise, under the mentorship of a technical lead.

Who we are looking for:

• You’ve been working as a Full-Stack Developer at an agency or software development house and have 5+ years of experience.
• You’re able to write estimates and technical specifications with a high level of detail.
• You’ll be at an expert level with ReactJS and have experience using the NextJS framework.
• Expert-level TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• You understand Artificial Intelligence tools but don’t use it as a crutch.
• A solid understanding of DB design principles, proven SQL skills in either MySQL, MSSQL or PostgreSQL.
• You can build API’s to spec in either .NET or NodeJS.
• You can build and integrate web applications with a variety of CMS’s.
• You have strong software security fundamentals, and espouse industry best practices.
• And have great communication skills and feel comfortable talking through your work both internally and with clients.

Things that would be a bonus:

• You have experience in integrating with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.
• You’re familiar with the following development tools: NextJS, NestJS, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript and have used the Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence) and Figma.
