Job summary

Montgomery in Sydney is seeking a junior lawyer to join the Construction, Projects and Infrastructure group. You will work on disputes across infrastructure, utilities and government projects, with a mix of litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years' PAE in construction law or disputes, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. The role offers mentorship, progression and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' PAE in construction, disputes or back-end construction law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act for major contractors on dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.
• Work across infrastructure, utilities and government projects in Australia.
• Provide client-ready analysis and assist senior lawyers in case strategy.
