Job summary

Cochrane O'Higgins Lawyers is seeking a Junior Lawyer (1–2 years PAE) to join our boutique commercial litigation, insolvency and dispute resolution team in Sydney CBD. You will handle strategy, drafting and court work with direct support from leadership and clients.

NSW admission (or eligible) and strong technical skills are essential. You will contribute to advisory matters, regulatory investigations and enforcement work while growing your practice in a flexible, collegial environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted in NSW (or eligible) and able to hold the practising certificate.
• Strong technical skills, sound commercial judgement, and pragmatic drafting.
• Confident, client-first communication: responsive, discreet and reliable.
• Experience (or exposure) in multiple courts: Federal Court / NSW Supreme & Local Courts.
• Values alignment: strategic, steadfast, human.

This is a Junior Lawyer position (1–2 years PAE) in Commercial Litigation, Insolvency, and Dispute Resolution at a boutique practice expanding in Sydney CBD.

About you
