Job summary

Cochrane O'Higgins Lawyers in Sydney is seeking a capable solicitor to join our boutique practice. You will handle shareholder agreements, governance documents, asset and share sales, loan and security agreements, leases, and trust work—delivering end-to-end matters with autonomy and backing.

The firm offers direct access to leadership, real responsibility, and flexible structuring (full-time or part-time).

Qualifications

• Admitted to practise in NSW (or eligible) and able to hold the relevant practising certificate.
• Strong drafting and attention to detail.
• Sound commercial judgment and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Clear and responsive communication with clients and counterparties.
• Ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy (with support as needed).

• Drafting and advising on loan agreements, general security agreements, and guarantees

• Business restructures and related advisory work
• Tax-related commercial advice, including matters involving ATO enforcement of outstanding tax liabilities
