Job summary

Bova Aus seeks a Junior IT Support Officer to join our high-performing IT team on a permanent part-time basis, 3 days a week, based in Caringbah.

You will provide friendly first-level on-site and remote IT support for staff, troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, set up devices, assist with onboarding, asset management and basic network issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Office products O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) and setting up accounts for new users.
• Strong teamwork and clear, respectful communication.
• Good problem-solving, research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly first-level on-site and remote IT support for staff.
• Log and update IT support requests and resolve common issues.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, software and user access issues.
• Set up and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors, docking stations and other workplace peripherals.
• Install approved software, drivers and updates, and assist with basic network connectivity issues.
• Provide basic support for Bova systems, telephones, meeting room technology and printing, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Maintain IT asset records for stock, device allocation, returns and replacements.
• Assist with staff onboarding, offboarding and moves, including device setup and standard user access.
• Assist the IT team with vendor support tickets when required.
• Prepare, store and dispose of IT equipment in line with Bova procedures.
• Follow and update IT support procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Report recurring issues to the IT team to help improve support.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior IT Support Officer to join our high-performing IT team on a permanent part-time basis, 3 days a week, based in Caringbah, with the potential to move into permanent full-time.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

User Support

Provide friendly first-level on-site and remote IT support for staff.

Log and update IT support requests and resolve common issues.

Device Setup and Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot common desktop, laptop, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, software and user access issues.

Set up and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors, docking stations and other workplace peripherals.

Install approved software, drivers and updates, and assist with basic network connectivity issues.

Provide basic support for Bova systems, telephones, meeting room technology and printing, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff.

IT Assets and User Setup

What you will bring to our Family

Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member using clear, concise, and respectful communication skills.

Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills with the ability to present information in a logical and coherent manner.

Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
