Job summary

Rural Affinity is seeking a Junior Desktop Analyst to provide first-level IT support across the business, under the IT Operations Lead. You’ll handle end-user devices, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and SharePoint tasks, and contribute to ongoing IT improvements.

Qualifications

• Foundation IT knowledge with practical experience.
• Basic Windows and common workplace hardware/software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Interest in Entra ID, Intune and cloud device management.
• Clear written and verbal communication; customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for IT inquiries using the ticketing process.
• Resolve common first-level issues with documented procedures.
• Support laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist users with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Configure devices for new hires and coordinate returns.
• Maintain asset register and warranty claims.
• Manage user accounts and licences for onboarding/offboarding.
• Enroll devices via Intune and deploy applications.
• Create and maintain SharePoint sites; support Teams/OneDrive issues.
• Support meeting-room tech and booking resources; ensure security.
