Job summary

Our client, an Australian investment organisation, seeks a junior Data Officer to support Investments and Investment Services teams. You’ll help prepare investment pipeline and portfolio reporting, check data from multiple sources and ensure information is accurate before sharing with senior stakeholders.

This role emphasizes strong Excel skills and broad exposure to investments. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in Sydney, with potential to work across Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra,

Qualifications

Experience in a data, reporting, operations or analyst support role.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
Clear communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on investment opportunities and pipeline activity.
Extract, collate and validate data from multiple sources.
Maintain reporting templates, data repositories and dashboards.
Reconcile reporting outputs and investigate discrepancies.
Support the preparation of Executive, Committee and Board reporting.
Help improve data quality and reporting processes.
