Job summary

Sunshine Coast Accountant in Woombye is hiring a Junior or Intermediate Accountant to support Senior Accountants. The role handles tax returns for individuals and entities, prepares financial statements, and lodges BAS/IAS while performing bookkeeping and client communication.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Australian accounting/public practice
• Experience with tax returns, BAS and financial statements
• Ability to work with some autonomy and follow firm procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
• Draft financial statements and lodge BAS/IAS
• Carry out bookkeeping and account reconciliations
• Support Senior Accountants with client work
• Communicate with clients and gather required information
• Maintain accurate records and follow firm systems
