Job summary

Toast in Sydney is seeking Field Implementation Technicians local to Sydney who can travel to local restaurants to install and configure Toast hardware and networks, train staff, and ensure successful deployments. You will work with internal teams, document plans, and provide post-live support, with up to 100% travel within the local area and occasional after-hours for equipment break-fix.

This is a hands-on role for those who enjoy mobile technology and hospitality, with opportunities to grow

Responsibilities

Learn the Toast POS system and become a product expert.
Install & configure Toast hardware and networking devices including POS terminals, handhelds, printers, and other peripherals.
Collaborate with internal Toast teams to find diverse business solutions that will make a restaurant THRIVE.
Conduct restaurant operation consultation and training sessions with all restaurant stakeholders to optimise Toast POS for their positions and operations.
Maintain and document implementation plans and network diagrams.
Test / troubleshoot unknown networking problems.
Terminate Ethernet cables if needed.
