Job summary

Quality People seeks hands-on Junior Field Technicians for 6+ month contracts in Toowoomba and Warwick, Queensland. You will perform sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, bitumen and asphalt under supervision, assist investigations and data analysis, operate equipment, and maintain high safety standards on-site.

The role focuses on practical material testing, data collection and reporting for ongoing construction projects, with emphasis on hazard awareness, PPE use and WHS

Qualifications

• Experience with field sampling and testing of construction materials.
• Basic data recording and reporting skills.
• Understanding of WHS PPE safety practices.
• Ability to follow testing procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling and testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bitumen and asphalt.
• Assist investigations and data analysis for material quality.
• Operate test equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
