Job summary

Quality People is seeking hands-on Junior Field Technicians (Materials & Construction) for 6 months+ contract roles in Toowoomba and Warwick, Queensland. The positions focus on sampling and testing essential materials including soil, aggregate, concrete, bitumen and asphalt.

You will perform testing procedures under supervision, assist with investigations and data analysis, operate equipment, and maintain high safety standards (PPE and WHS).

Qualifications

• Perform testing procedures under supervision in line with standards.
• Assist with investigations and research projects applying foundational project management principles.
• Support the analysis of test data with accuracy and timely delivery of results.
• Operate equipment, apparatus and reagents per documented procedures and maintain high safety standards including PPE and WHS compliance.
• Participate in site sampling and pavement investigations while traveling with experienced staff.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting samples up to 25 kg.
• Hold a Current Class C Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities
