Job summary

Arise Developments (WA) Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior Development Manager to support delivery of our retail and commercial development projects in Western Australia. Reporting to the Development Director, you will assist with project coordination from design concept through to completion, building experience across the development process.

You will work with the Development Director to ensure projects meet quality, budget and schedule milestones while engaging with consultants,

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction and development management.
• Tertiary qualification in Property Development or Construction Management.
• Understanding of development management and overseeing contractors.
• Strong communication, initiative and collaborative stakeholder skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management with ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development Director in delivering projects to quality, budget, program and compliance.
• Review project documentation and contractual requirements.
• Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities; escalate issues.
• Prepare and update project programs; track milestones; compile monthly reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities and tenants.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Development Manager to support the delivery of our retail and commercial development projects. Reporting to the Development Director, you will assist with project coordination from design concept through to completion, building your experience across the development process.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Development Director in delivering projects to agreed quality, budget, program and compliance requirements.

Assist with reviewing project documentation and contractual requirements, and communicating key information to stakeholders.

Help identify and monitor project risks and opportunities, escalating issues and following up agreed actions.

Assist with preparing and updating project programs, tracking milestones and compiling monthly progress reports.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities and tenants to support timely decisions and keep project activities on track.

Maintain accurate project records and contribute to improvements in project systems and processes.

About you

Experience in commercial construction and development management.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Development or Construction Management, or similar.

A sound understanding of development management, including overseeing construction contractors and delivering tenancies.

Clear communication skills, initiative and a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders.

Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail and an interest in the commercial drivers of development projects.

Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
