Job summary

Hully Foundation Pty Ltd - t/a Hully Foundation seeks a Junior Civil Engineer to support site engineering, planning and quality control for piling and foundation projects in Kunama, NSW. The role involves designing, coordinating and supervising civil works in line with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods and Australian Standards.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work in a team.
• Commitment to WHSEQ standards (health, safety, environment and quality).

Responsibilities

• Assist geotechnical and foundation assessments, including tender reviews and health, safety and quality reviews for piling and civil infrastructure projects.
• Plan, design and coordinate piling and foundation systems, including drilled piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions.
• Apply civil and geotechnical engineering principles to soil conditions and structural requirements, and assist in developing foundation solutions.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, including piling, excavation and concrete installation, ensuring adherence to specs and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with pile testing and quality assessment procedures.
• Monitor progress, resources and schedules to support delivery and cost management.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, procedures and project records.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to provide engineering support and participate in project meetings.
