Job summary

Australian Environmental Landscapes is seeking a motivated Junior Administration & Projects Assistant to support estimating, tendering, project administration, finance and business systems in Ipswich.

You’ll work with our Estimator, Finance team and Systems & Tender Coordinator, gaining practical experience across the business. No prior experience required—must be organised, numerate and keen to learn. Your role will grow with your skills.

Qualifications

• You don’t need years of experience; a can‑do attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Good computer skills and confidence learning new software.
• Good numeracy and an interest in working with figures.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes; ask questions when unsure.
• Willingness to learn from different people across the business.

Responsibilities

• Search tender portals and download tender documents, drawings and specs.
• Set up and organise tender and project documentation.
• Assist Estimator with simple take‑offs, pricing and estimating as skills develop.
• Assist with compilation and preparation of tender submissions.
• Enter and allocate employee hours into the PM software.
• Assist with project and financial administration.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and project documentation.
• Support management systems and compliance documentation.
• Assist with onboarding and employee records.
• General office administration, calls and deliveries.
• Provide administrative support across the business as required.
