Job summary

Apprentice Recruit on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced estimator/project manager for a mid-tier commercial landscaping company with South East Queensland projects. You’ll be involved from tender assessment to pricing, handover and commercial management.

Your role blends estimating and pre-construction (about 80%) with project delivery (20%), with a path into senior office leadership and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong estimating capability for commercial landscaping projects.
• Experience in pricing, tender submission and pre-construction.
• Ability to read plans, specs and tender documents.
• Understanding of project costs, labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Solid communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender opportunities and assess suitability.
• Manage tender process from assessment to submission.
• Prepare detailed estimates and tenders for approval.
• Liaise with builders, clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist with project budgets, variations and tracking.
