Job summary

UBEECO in Erskine Park, NSW is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to develop hands-on accounting skills with mentoring from senior staff.

You will assist with journals, reconciliations, reporting, and AR/AP tasks, while receiving structured on-the-job training from a Big 4‑trained finance team. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and a clear path to growth.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post accounting journals.
• Perform routine account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with financial and management reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Assist with variance analysis and investigate movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide AR/AP support as required.
• Collaborate with Finance Analyst and Finance Manager on analyses.
