Job summary

EFC TAX & ACCOUNTING SERVICES PTY LTD is seeking a technically strong accountant to join a growing team in Adelaide. You will work closely with Managers and Partners on a diverse client portfolio across industries, focusing on personal growth and development.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, with a city office and opportunities to mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality tax, financial reporting, and advisory services.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified or actively pursuing.
• 3-5 years in public practice or business services.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law and financial reporting.
• Experience with cloud accounting software Xero or MYOB.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for a range of clients including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Manage a portfolio of clients directly, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Provide business advisory services.
• Review the work of junior staff and provide mentoring/on-the-job training.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timeframes and budgets.
