Job summary

Aeris Resources Limited is seeking a Jumbo Operator for Cracow Gold Operations in central Queensland. You will advance underground development safely, perform development drilling and ground support, and maintain equipment and safety standards in a fast-paced mining environment.

You will read ground conditions, install bolts and mesh, conduct pre-start checks, and participate in routine maintenance of the jumbo.

Qualifications

• Proven competence in safe and efficient jumbo operation and ground support installation.
• Ability to meet productivity metres advanced targets.
• Ability to read ground conditions and drill designs.

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for advancing underground development safely and efficiently. You'll carry out all aspects of development drilling, and ground support, while maintaining safety, identifying hazards, and meeting site standards.

What you Bring:

• Demonstrated competence in the safe and efficient operation of the jumbo drill and installation of ground support.
• Demonstrated to be capable of meeting productivity standards (metres advanced).
• Demonstrated ability to read ground conditions and drill designs.
• Demonstrated ability to install ground support such as bolts, mesh, and other products as required.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake daily servicing and routine maintenance of the jumbo.
• Actively participate in pre-start checks and basic maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and productive work areas in active headings.
• Good all round work performance and positive attitude to HSE and the care of equipment; and
• Competent in peripheral tasks (basic road maintenance, services) and service checks, maintenance on equipment.
