Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking experienced Journeyperson Pipefitters or Plumbers for a civil infrastructure project in Newcastle, Ontario.

This is a great opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project with one of Canada's Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry-leading team! On site you will install piping systems, coordinate with the project team, and contribute to water treatment facility construction.

Qualifications

• Experience with drawings and interpretation for construction layouts
• Ability to establish control points with accuracy on large projects
• Demonstrated leadership on site teams
• Experience with piping systems including compressed air, water, PVC/HDPE, and stainless steel
• Ability to install mechanical equipment and architectural hardware
• Experience with rigging and level transfer over long distances
• Knowledge of water treatment or wastewater facility construction is an asset
• A valid Zoom Boom ticket is an asset

Responsibilities/Qualifications

We are looking for construction tradespersons who have experience with:

• Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
• Establishing control points with accuracy
• Able to provide leadership.
• Experience with compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems.
• Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping
• Able to install various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware.
• Able to transfer levels over large distances with accuracy.
• Rigging and installing equipment
• Mechanical bolt-up
• Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction is an asset.
