Job summary

Reliable Plumbing Services is seeking an experienced Civil Plumber to join our team at a university location in Melbourne. You will handle commercial and civil plumbing tasks from start to finish, including drainage, sewer, water and fire service work.

We value craftsmanship, ownership and safety, with an on-call roster roughly one week every 10–12 weeks. A stable, full-time role with opportunities for progression and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• BPC/VBA Plumbing Registration required.
• 5+ years' experience in commercial, civil or maintenance plumbing.
• Current driver's licence.
• Working with Children Check (Employee).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good communication and customer service.
• On-call roster approximately one week every 10–12 weeks.

Reliable Plumbing Services (RPS) is looking for an experienced Civil Plumber to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a plumber who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship, and is comfortable taking ownership of a job from start to finish.

You’ll work across commercial and civil plumbing, including drainage, sewer and stormwater, in-ground water services, fire service installations and repairs, along with CCTV and pressure jetting.

About You

We're looking for an experienced plumber who doesn't need to be constantly supervised.

You take ownership of your work, identify problems and look for solutions. You communicate when you need assistance rather than allowing a problem to hold up the job.

Just as importantly, you work well with others and understand that delivering a great result is a team effort.

You'll ideally bring experience across:

• Commercial and/or civil plumbing
• Sewer and stormwater
• Water and gas
• Fire service installation and repairs
• CCTV inspections
• Pressure jetting
• Excavator operation

What You’ll Need

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

• BPC/VBA Plumbing Registration
• 5+ years' experience in commercial, civil or maintenance plumbing, or a similar environment
• Current driver's licence
• Working with Children Check (Employee)
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, professional and team-focused approach
• Availability to participate in our on-call roster - approximately one week every 10-12 weeks

An excavator licence and experience with CCTV and pressure jetting will be highly regarded.
