The Southern Highland News, which is a part of Australian Community Media (ACM), is looking for an experienced journalist to join its enthusiastic and dedicated team. This is a position for a highly motivated person with a nose for news.

The successful applicant will need to be versatile and prepared to cover a variety of rounds including news, council, community, entertainment or sport.

• Strong writing skills and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
• Flexibility is important as the successful candidate could be asked to work on weekends or evenings.
• An understanding of digital and social media platforms and the ability to take quality photos are also important.
