Job summary

Mission Australia is building a new CPS program team in Dareton, NSW, to provide psychosocial support and recovery-focused services. We are recruiting Recovery Case Workers to help participants identify goals, access community supports and build independence.

You will work in a multidisciplinary CPS team, delivering person-centred care, documenting outcomes, and fostering trauma-informed practice to help people thrive in their communities.

Mission Australia is building a new team to deliver the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) Program, and we’re looking for passionate people who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing psychosocial challenges. This is an opportunity to work alongside people experiencing mental health challenges to strengthen recovery, independence and connection to community. Mission Australia's community-based mental health services focus on person-centred support, healing, resilience and helping people lead stable and fulfilling lives.

We’re recruiting for:

• Recovery Case Workers - Work alongside people experiencing psychosocial challenges to identify goals, build capacity and strengthen connections with community and supports. Salary: $87828 FTE per annum + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging

Requirements for Success

• Passion for supporting people experiencing mental health and psychosocial challenges.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to build respectful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong connection to, or willingness to develop knowledge of, the local community.
• Relevant experience, qualifications and/or lived experience appropriate to the position being applied for.
