DM Jewellers on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Jewellery & Repairs Sales Assistant who is client-focused and detail-oriented. This full-time role requires Saturdays and offers the chance to guide clients from engagement consultation through bespoke design, heirloom remodelling and aftercare.

You will lead jewellery consultations, translate client visions into design briefs with our workshop team, and maintain high showroom standards while handling high-value pieces with care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in jewellery sales in a high-end/bespoke setting.
• Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals.
• Warm, articulate communication and the confidence to put clients at ease.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency with POS and CRM systems; willingness to learn new ones.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
• Discretion, integrity and genuine care for every client.
• A genuine passion for jewellery, design and craftsmanship.
• Availability on Saturdays.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional, personalised client service from first enquiry through to collection and beyond.
• Lead consultations for engagement rings, wedding bands, bespoke commissions and fine jewellery.
• Translate each client's vision into a clear design brief, working closely with our design and workshop team.
• Learn and retain in-depth knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals and the design process, and advise clients with confidence.
• Manage repairs, remodelling and heirloom redesigns, including quoting, coordination and client follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and thorough client records.
• Process sales, deposits and payments accurately, recording client and order details in our systems.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the showroom, displays and client experience.
• Handle and secure high-value pieces with care and discretion.
• Support daily showroom opening and closing routines.
• Work efficiently and accurately in a detail-focused environment.

DM Jewellers is a boutique fine jeweller on the Sunshine Coast, known for expert craftsmanship and custom designs created with passion for each client’s unique story. We specialise in bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands and fine jewellery, with every piece designed and handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail using carefully sourced diamonds and gemstones.

Our new, purpose-built showroom in Maroochydore offers a modern, refined and welcoming environment for both our clients and our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Jewellery & Repairs Sales Assistant with strong attention to detail to join our growing team. This is a full-time position, with Saturday mornings required as needed.
You will guide clients through some of the most meaningful purchases of their lives, from an initial engagement ring consultation through to bespoke design, heirloom remodelling and aftercare. In every interaction, you will be a trusted guide: knowledgeable, thoughtful and genuinely invested in helping each client bring their story to life. Our approach is consultative rather than transactional: we want every client to leave feeling informed, confident and excited about their piece.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in jewellery sales, ideally within a high-end or bespoke jewellery environment
• Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and precious metals highly regarded
• Warm, articulate communication and the confidence to put clients at ease
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confidence using point-of-sale and client management (CRM) systems, and a willingness to learn new ones
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
• Discretion, integrity and genuine care for every client
• A genuine passion for jewellery, design and craftsmanship
• Availability on Saturdays
