Gallagher Jewellers in Brisbane Arcade (Brisbane CBD) seeks an experienced jewellery sales professional for a full-time role Tuesday to Saturday with flexible hours. You’ll be the first face clients see, handling bespoke commissions and ready-to-wear sales, while supporting Felix with quotes and job tracking.

Qualificações

• Proven sales experience in bespoke jewellery or small jewellery business.
• Confident, polished closer who enjoys client interactions.
• Solid knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, metals, and common repairs.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.
• Clear, proactive communicator with clients and trades.
• Experience setting up or improving retail processes is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome walk-in clients and guide them to outcomes.
• Close sales on ready-to-wear pieces and qualify bespoke inquiries.
• Take in repairs, assess requests and record details accurately.
• Arrange repair quotes with local jewellers and follow up with clients.
• Support designer with quoting and bespoke proposals.
• Track every job from intake to delivery to ensure on-time results.
• Keep clients updated at every stage.
• Help build sales and job-tracking systems for future growth.

Gallagher Jewellers opened in the Brisbane Arcade just one year ago and has grown fast. Clients come to us for custom engagement rings, fine jewellery and one-off pieces designed by our founder, Felix Gallagher. Demand is growing quickly, and we're looking for an experienced jewellery sales professional to join us early and help build the business.

This is a rare chance to get in at the ground floor of a young, respected bespoke brand in one of Brisbane's most beautiful retail spaces.

The role

Felix leads our bespoke commissions and design consultations. You'll be his right hand: the first face clients see, the person who keeps every job moving, and the one who makes sure no sale or client slips through the cracks.

What you'll do

• Welcome walk-in clients, understand what they're after and guide them to the right outcome
• Close sales on ready-to-wear pieces and qualify bespoke enquiries before handing them to Felix
• Take in repairs, assess client requests and record job details accurately
• Arrange repair quotes with our trusted local jewellers and follow up with clients promptly
• Support Felix with quoting and preparing bespoke proposals
• Track every job from intake to delivery so pieces arrive on time
• Keep clients updated at every stage of their job
• Help build the sales and job-tracking systems that will support our next stage of growth

About you

• Proven sales experience in a small or bespoke jewellery business (essential)
• A confident, natural closer who is warm, polished and loves working with clients
• Solid knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, metals and common repairs
• Highly organised, with a track record of managing multiple jobs and deadlines
• A clear, proactive communicator with clients and trades
• Keen to share your experience and help shape how a growing business runs
• Experience setting up or improving retail processes is highly regarded
