Job summary

SMS Personnel is seeking a Junior Analyst / JDE Finance Functional Analyst for a temporary assignment based in Kilsyth. The role sits between Finance and IT and focuses on business-process improvement, JDE finance configuration, system enhancements, and implementation activity.

The successful candidate will work across General Ledger, AP, AR and Fixed Assets, collaborating with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to drive process improvements and effective JDE rollouts.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally version 9.2.
• Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience across JDE Finance modules.
• Experience producing functional specifications, process documentation, testing material and user guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly around finance-module support and period-close integrity issues.
• Ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manufacturing, product-costing or manufacturing-accounting exposure will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance and IT teams to design and implement improvements to the JD Edwards Finance model.
• Support and lead JDE rollout activity for newly acquired businesses.
• Provide Level 2 support for complex JDE Finance issues.
• Act as a subject-matter resource for finance users and support consistent JDE processes and practices.
• Develop functional designs, test scripts and end-user training material.
• Model and document As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Configure and support JDE Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
• Work with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing on system and process improvements.
