Job summary

Whizdom is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join a major enterprise technology program supporting one of Australia’s leading financial services organisations. The role spans front-end and back-end work, building scalable enterprise applications and contributing to AI-enabled solutions.

You’ll collaborate with architects, product teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative outcomes in a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Java full stack development experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with APIs, integration patterns and modern architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery teams and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale applications using modern Java full stack technologies.
• Build and enhance both front-end and back-end components.
• Develop scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design and technical decisions.
• Integrate applications with APIs, enterprise platforms and third-party services.
• Participate in Agile delivery teams and SDLC activities.
• Support CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Contribute to AI-enabled application development.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance and reliability.
