Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a senior technology leader to design and deliver secure, reliable AI-enabled enterprise applications. You will guide engineering across problem framing, architecture, production adoption and responsible delivery in a complex environment.

The role requires deep experience in software engineering, AI capabilities, and cloud platforms, with a focus on enterprise-scale systems and collaboration with product and business stakeholders. Hybrid work is available in Australia.

Qualifications

• Typically 10–12 years of professional experience in software engineering, solution architecture or related enterprise technology roles.
• Strong record of designing and delivering production enterprise applications in complex or regulated environments.
• Hands-on AI-enabled solutions experience, such as agentic apps, retrieval-augmented generation or ML services.
• Strong fundamentals: API design, distributed systems, testing, version control, CI/CD, observability and secure development.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one enterprise stack (Java, .NET or TS/Node.js).
• Experience delivering on at least one major cloud platform.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data integration, SQL and retrieval of structured/unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution delivery from framing through architecture, implementation, and production release.
• Design pragmatic enterprise architectures connecting AI to existing apps, APIs and data platforms.
• Develop or review critical components, set coding/testing standards, and balance quality, cost, speed.
• Engineer production AI systems with scalable architectures and cost optimization.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering capability across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners and leadership to translate priorities into roadmaps.
