Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a major technology modernisation initiative for a leading Australian enterprise. You’ll work on a modern stack (Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript) and leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery in a Brisbane-based team.

In this role you’ll modernise legacy applications, design APIs, strengthen security and implement containerised deployments using AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-grade software development in modern engineering practices.
• Backend development with Java/Spring Boot and API design.
• Frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Cloud and DevOps experience including AWS and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Modernise and enhance enterprise applications, improving performance, security and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
• Design, develop and integrate APIs across complex environments.
• Improve automated testing frameworks, including Playwright.
• Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD to strengthen software delivery.
• Support GitOps via Argo CD and Kubernetes.
• Implement secure coding practices and software supply-chain security.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and testing.
