Woosa Pancake Restaurant in Melbourne CBD seeks a skilled Cook for a full-time role (38 hours/week). You will prepare Japanese-inspired savoury dishes and signature soufflé pancakes, follow recipes, manage portions and food safety, and work with the kitchen team to ensure quality and timely service.

AQF certificates in Commercial Cookery or equivalent are preferred, with several years in a busy kitchen. The role offers a competitive AUD 80,000 per year salary.

Qualifications

• Must have AQF cookery qualifications or equivalent.
• Several years of cooking experience in a busy kitchen preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Japanese-inspired savoury dishes and soufflé pancakes.
• Follow recipes, monitor portions and plating for consistency.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness throughout service.
• Coordinate with staff to deliver timely meals to customers.
• Assist with training junior kitchen staff when required.
