Job summary

The Royal Women’s Hospital is inviting applications for a Fertility Nurse to work within the Public Fertility Care Services (PFC) in Parkville, Melbourne. You will deliver specialised nursing care to patients and their partners undergoing fertility treatment in a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, collaborating with clinicians, and supporting colleagues while maintaining thorough documentation and timely assessments.

Qualifications

• IVF/fertility nursing experience is highly valued.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 nurse (nursing registration).
• Minimum of two years’ acute nursing experience.
• Well-developed computer skills and understanding of patient management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and management of quality nursing care for patients undergoing fertility treatment.
• Collaborating with medical and other health professionals as determined by the patient’s care needs.
• Being an active team member and providing assistance and support to colleagues when required.
• Demonstrating appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, documentation, prioritisation and time management.
