Job summary

Westmead Fertility Centre in Sydney is seeking an experienced Fertility Nurse (RN or RM) for a full‑time fixed‑term parental leave cover. You will join a multidisciplinary fertility team, delivering patient‑centred care across fertility treatment cycles, including venepuncture, ultrasounds and patient education.

You must hold current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, demonstrate ongoing professional development, and deliver compassionate, evidence‑based care in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Evidence of consistent ongoing professional development and education.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Proven customer service skills in patient care.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst offering exceptional patient care at all times.
• Ability to work in a cross disciplinary team.
• Accurate data entry and record maintenance for ANZARD reporting.
• Genuine interest in the latest ART treatment procedures.

We are currently seeking an experienced RN or RM who will make an important contribution in the delivery and support of a personalised fertility treatment plan while covering for parental leave. You will be responsible for patient nursing care throughout the patient's fertility treatment cycles. Central to this role is a strong patient focus and the consistent provision of a high standard of customer service, exercised with empathy and care.Fundamentalto the role is the delivery of professional care, education and information to guide patients andprovidean exceptional experience.

Joining a supportive team of experienced Fertility Nurses at WFC, and reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will provide the full range of fertility investigations and treatment. This includes, performing venepuncture, transvaginal ultrasounds, interpreting blood results, education and support of the fertility patient; and assist with the smooth running of the Nursing Unit to ensure a high standard ofcare.
