Job summary

Ramsay Surgical Centre in Cairns, Queensland, is seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified) – Scrub Scout to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. You will support safe, high-quality perioperative care, collaborating with RNs, surgeons and the broader team to ensure smooth procedures and patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating theatres, equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Support surgical team during procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning and transfer.
• Monitor patient wellbeing and escalate concerns to the nurse or clinician.
• Administer medications/IV therapies within scope.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
