Job summary

MacKillop Family Services in Blacktown, NSW, is seeking an ITC Caseworker to deliver high quality, therapeutic casework for young people in Intensive Therapeutic Care. You will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and review of case plans to support permanency and positive outcomes for young people and their families.

Working within a trauma-informed framework, you will collaborate with Coordinators, Therapeutic Specialists and House Managers to provide a holistic response that promotes

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work, youth work, community services or a relevant field.
• Experience with Young People with complex trauma; understanding of adolescent development, trauma, attachment and resilience theory.
• Proven casework skills; experience in therapeutic residential care is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, therapeutic casework for young people in Intensive Therapeutic Care.
• Lead planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of case plans to support permanency and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with ITC staff to provide a holistic response that fosters healing, growth, and engagement in education, employment, and community life.
