Job summary

LifeByte is seeking an IT Systems Technician Lead to deliver reliable, secure internal IT services. You will lead the technician team, own operational standards, and administer core SaaS, endpoint, identity, and service-management platforms.

Responsibilities include leading technicians, managing incidents and changes, and overseeing M365, Intune, Autopilot, Jira/JSM/Confluence, and Azure AD governance. 5+ years in IT systems administration with leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of IT systems administration experience with leadership/coaching of IT technicians.
• Advanced admin across M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and CA.
• Hands-on Intune and Windows Autopilot for endpoint config, compliance, and deployment.
• Strong Jira/JSM/Jira Assets/Confluence admin, workflows, queues, SLAs, and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, SSO, SAML, MFA, and joiner/mover/leaver governance.
• Experience leading incident, problem, and change management in ITIL-aligned environments.
• Knowledge of Australian ISM/Essential Eight security practices; automation/scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Systems Technicians with coaching, guidance, and performance management.
• Own day-to-day service delivery including incidents, requests, and changes.
• Coordinate major incidents and drive root-cause analyses and fixes.
• Provide advanced administration for M365 and endpoint platforms (Intune, Autopilot).
• Own Jira/JSM/Confluence administration, workflows, and dashboards.
• Oversee identity, access governance across SaaS environments (Azure AD, MFA, SSO).
