Job summary

Chery in Sydney, Australia seeks a hands-on IT Systems & Operations Specialist to support daily IT operations and enterprise applications. You will help manage the Microsoft 365 environment, security posture, system integrations and business applications while collaborating with users and vendors.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in enterprise IT operations, systems administration or a comparable technical support role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune and Defender, including endpoint management, access controls and security policies.
• Experience supporting ERP, CRM or other enterprise business applications, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, accountable and comfortable working with business users, technical teams and external vendors.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese communication and writing skills are required, with the ability to conduct business discussions and prepare clear written communications in Chinese; effective English communication skills are also required.
• Automotive industry or multi-brand business experience; exposure to Pentana, SAP or other ERP platforms.
• System integration, scripting, workflow automation, data management, Power Automate or AI-assisted tools.
• IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity governance, ISO 27001 or Australian Essential Eight; independent IT project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Microsoft 365, Endpoint & Security: Administer Entra ID, Intune, Defender and Purview; maintain identity, device compliance, endpoint security and data protection policies; support device deployment, patching and security incident remediation.
• Enterprise Applications: Support ERP, CRM, workflow and collaboration systems, including user access, configurations, master data, troubleshooting, upgrades and vendor coordination.
• IT Projects & Integration: Assist with requirements, solution evaluation, testing, deployment and post-implementation support; coordinate with stakeholders and vendors; support data interfaces and business-process automation.
• IT Operations & Improvement: Provide hands-on end-user support, investigate recurring issues, maintain technical documentation and improve service quality through standardisation, automation and appropriate AI-enabled tools.
