Job summary

People First Healthcare is seeking an IT Support Officer for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Melbourne, VIC. The role focuses on day-to-day IT support across the organisation, assisting with issues, onboarding new staff, and maintaining IT assets.

You will work with the IS team to troubleshoot, configure equipment, and support IT projects while adhering to security and compliance policies. Prior healthcare experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or Help Desk role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Set up and configure laptops, computers, phones and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, access and permissions.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide support across Microsoft 365 and business applications.
• Log, manage and resolve IT support requests.
• Escalate complex issues to IS team or external vendors.
• Assist with IT system implementations, upgrades and projects.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
