Job summary

People First Healthcare in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking an experienced IT Support Officer for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role provides day-to-day IT support across the organisation, troubleshooting issues, configuring devices, and supporting projects.

You will work with the IS team, handle onboarding, user accounts, and Microsoft 365, Windows environments, with a focus on practical, customer-focused solutions in a regulated healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Support/Service Desk roles.
• Level 1 and Level 2 support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Experience in healthcare, aged care, NDIS or another regulated setting is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Set up and configure laptops, computers, phones and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, access and permissions.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide support across Microsoft 365 and business applications.
• Log, manage and resolve IT support requests.
• Escalate complex issues to the IS team or external vendors.
• Assist with IT system implementations, upgrades and projects.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
• Assist with software installation, updates and troubleshooting.
• Ensure IT issues are documented and resolved within timeframes.
• Follow IT security, compliance and organisational policies.
