Job summary

Premier Retail is seeking an entry-level IT Helpdesk role based at our Support Office in Melbourne. The 12-month fixed-term position involves full-time hours with rotating shifts to cover mornings, afternoons and nights.

You will support store teams and office staff with IT queries, POS issues, and scanner problems. You will escalate complex issues, document phone queries, and collaborate with the wider IT team to resolve problems and improve user education.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volume tasks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business.
• High integrity to ensure information is timely and accurate.
• Passion for IT with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
• Tertiary IT studies advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and responding to IT queries including trouble shooting scanner, POS system technical issues and a multitude of Support Office inquiries.
• Ensure every phone query is dealt with professionally and accurately recorded in our system.
• Escalate issues (where cannot be immediately resolved) to the Service Desk Manager and/or other support teams.
• Keep customers across the status of issues and contribute to education of business users.
• Work with the Senior Service Desk Specialists and wider IT team to problem solve and follow up on queries.
