Job summary

Dutton Automotive in Richmond, VIC, Australia, is seeking an IT Support Officer / Junior Developer to join our close-knit IT team. The role focuses on desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software, and developing simple software solutions.

You will work with a collaborative team, deliver test-driven development, manage workstations, and provide on-site support across Victorian locations. Experience with HTML/CSS/SASS and CRM systems is valued.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent industry certification.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and SASS for web-related tasks.
• Experience AWS Lambda and Firebase would be highly desirable.
• Experience developing and iterating software in agile multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and 365 User Management.
• Experience with Windows 10 Desktop Diagnostics and Support.
• Experience managing networked print environments.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Strong understanding of patterns for developing maintainable and scalable web applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player with collaborative, curious and helpful attitude.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Handle inbound helpdesk calls and tickets with a customer-service focus.
• Write clear, secure, and reusable code for front-end and back-end tasks.
• Identify bugs and collaborate with developers to fix production issues.
• Assist with on-site IT support across Victorian locations.
• Prepare workstations and install software.
• Support network and printing services, including VoIP extension support.
• Assist asset management and stock-control using provided systems.
• Collaborate with IT and Admin teams to improve processes.
