Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support professional to join our VIC-based team, supporting both Head Office and residential aged care sites. You will provide Level 1 IT support, deploy and maintain devices, and help users across Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.

You'll typically work three days on-site at facilities and two days at the Cheltenham Head Office, with interstate travel about once per quarter. A Certificate IV or Diploma in IT or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IT Support/Service Desk/Desktop Support.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support and troubleshoot user issues.
• Deliver onsite support across multiple sites (onsite 3 days/week, head office 2 days/week) with interstate travel once per quarter.
• Deploy and maintain devices, peripherals and IT assets.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts.
• Manage onboarding, device setup and offboarding for employees.
• Escalate complex issues and contribute to service improvements.

Reporting to the IT Service Desk State Lead (VIC), you'll be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring our teams can effectively use technology to support residents and deliver outstanding care.

This is a hands-on role that will see you supporting both our Head Office in Cheltenham and our aged care homes across Victoria, including Clyde and Wallan and occasional interstate travel may be required, once per quarter.

You'll typically spend three days each week visiting our residential aged care homes and two days at our Head Office in Cheltenham. If you enjoy variety and working across different locations, this role offers a great mix of onsite support and team collaboration. All work-related travel will be reimbursed in line with company policy.

What you will be doing:

• Provide Level 1 IT support and troubleshoot user issues
• Deliver onsite support across aged care facilities and head office (3 days onsite 2 days head office) plus travel once a quarter interstate if required
• Deploy and maintain devices, peripherals and IT assets
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts
• Manage employee onboarding, device setup and offboarding
• Escalate complex issues and contribute to service improvements

What you will bring;

• Prior experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Desktop Support
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and printers
• Understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence & reliable car
• Willingness to travel between facilities, head office and interstate
• Valid right to Work in Australia
• Current National Police check/ NDIS check (or willingness to obtain)
