Job summary

Respect, a not-for-profit aged care provider in Regional Australia, is seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to support daily operations at Cedar Place aged care community. You will work within a caring team delivering high‑quality service and ensuring smooth front‑of‑house operations.

You will coordinate rostering, timesheets, training records, and staff documentation, while delivering professional reception duties, handling records and meeting minutes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, ideally in aged care, health, or service-based roles.
  • Proven rostering, timesheets, training records and staff documentation experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills.
  • Competence with computers and word processing.

  • Provide professional, customer-focused reception services and general administrative support.
  • Manage office administration, including correspondence, records, reports and meeting minutes.
  • Undertake general administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the aged care service.

This is a rewarding Full-time opportunity for an experienced and motivated Administration Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the facility.

We are seeking someone with strong administration experience, including demonstrated payroll experience, confident computer skills, and a background in reception or front-of-house roles. Rostering is a key responsibility, so experience in this area will be highly regarded, though not essential. You will also bring excellent communication skills, a warm and professional telephone manner, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality service.

No two days are the same! As Administration Assistant you will:

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Experience in administration, ideally in aged care, health, or a service-based role.
  • Proven experience in rostering, timesheets, training records and staff documentation
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Competence with computers and word processing.
  • An excellent ability to demonstrate confidentiality and compliance requirements.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening or National Police Check, or able to obtain one.
