Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in applications, business analysis, solution delivery or vendor management.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and recommendations.
• Experience analysing usage, cost, performance or other operational data and preparing recommendations for decision-makers.
• Highly organised, with sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise system activities and drive ongoing support and improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, utilization and performance.
• Analyse system usage, costs and performance.
• Lead system improvements from requirements and options analysis through testing, release and handover.
• Plan and coordinate UAT, defect resolution, release activities and user adoption.
• Prepare reporting, options, evidence-based recommendations and decision-support material.
• Support governance, risk, compliance and audit actions, identifying gaps and following through actions.

IT Solution Specialist

Brisbane | Permanent Full-Time | Hybrid

Join our Digital & Technology team as an IT Solution Specialist supporting a diverse portfolio of People, Safety and Operational systems. Working closely with the IT Solution Manager, you'll independently deliver assigned system improvements, manage day-to-day vendor relationships, support software renewals, coordinate testing and releases, and provide clear reporting and recommendations across a range of enterprise applications.

This varied role suits someone with experience in application support, business analysis, solution delivery or IT vendor management who can work independently, analyse problems and data, develop evidence-based recommendations, and drive assigned outcomes from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned activities across enterprise systems and drive their ongoing support and improvement.
• Manage assigned vendor relationships, licensing, renewals, utilisation and performance.
• Analyse system usage, costs and performance.
• Lead assigned system improvements from requirements and options analysis through testing, release and handover.
• Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release activities and user adoption.
• Prepare clear reporting, options, evidence-based recommendations and decision-support material.
• Support governance, risk, compliance and audit activities, identifying gaps and following through agreed actions.

About You
